Review: Estée Lauder's Bronze Goddess Bronzer

Well hello to you my reader chums! Today I've got a mid-week review for you all on a bronzer I'm really enjoying at the moment. On the way back from my holiday last month, I had a look in duty-free and with my leftover euros made a cheeky splurge on the 'Bronze goddess' bronzer. I've heard a few amazing things about this bronzer and as contouring is one of my favourite makeup steps, I thought I'd treat myself to it.

Estée Lauder's Bronze Goddess Bronzer

Compact size

The size of the compact is very large which has its pros and cons. The pros being to achieve an overall bronzed look, you could easily use a huge powder brush, to lightly dust it all over the skin. Also, as it's such a big compact, there's a lot of product, which will last for a very long time. However, the only con is it's not the most ideal product to travel with.

Bronzer shade

For me, this bronzer is the perfect contouring shade. With some bronzers I find they have quite orange undertones, however, this isn't the case for 'Bronze goddess'. As it's a warm-toned bronzer, it brings a lot of warmth and definition when applied to the skin. Using a couple of layers, building up the bronzer, it leaves a gorgeous sun-kissed contour with a muted highlight that I love.

Pigmentation

As I said, the bronzer is one that can be built up meaning if you'd prefer a natural bronze glow, a swipe of this will give you that look, or for full-on contoured cheekbones, the bronzer can achieve this in a few layers. Due to the slight shimmer running through, not only does it shape the face, it brings a lovely subtle highlight. I love how even though it has an indefinite glow, it's very matte, perfect for a chiseled effect.

Lasting power

I'm always on the hunt for long-lasting products as there's nothing worst than your makeup coming off by the end of the day. I can happily say the 'bronze goddess' bronzer is long-wearing, where even after a lengthy period, that contour is still visible.

Overall thoughts of the bronzer

Overall I can simply say I adore this product. It's such a luxurious treat when I add it to my makeup look, especially on days where I'm not feeling too good, it'll give my skin that lovely warmth. With all the aspects taken into count, it's now up there with my top bronzers. Even though it's a tad pricier than other bronzers I own, the quality and size make it truly worth the money.

I hope you enjoyed this review. Have you tried Estée Lauder's Bronze goddess' bronzer?

Thank you for reading <3
