My travel goals for 2021 ft Photowall | Gifted

Well hello to you my reader chums! Travel is my biggest passion in life and something I've missed so incredibly much this year with everything going on. The best way for me to not miss travelling too much is to focus on where I am going to travel when it's possible again.

I've titled the post for the goals to be in 2021 as I really hope, things get a bit better next year and I'm able to go on a plane. However, if they aren't, these goals are something, I can do the next year or year after that.

My travel goals for 2021

I was inspired to write this post when Photowall got in touch about gifting me one of their prints as part of a collaboration. I jumped at the fact as I really wanted to have a large print that represented my love of travel and that of course was a world map. The map now gives me something visual to look at every day whilst I'm dreaming about where I can go next.

Photowall is a custom wallpaper and print company based in Sweden which offers a range of wall murals, posters, wallpapers, canvases, and the option to personalise your prints. I absolutely adore their website and was very impressed when my print turned up. I love the quality of the world map and how it blends in well with the colour scheme of my room - plus it adds the travel vibe to my bedroom space also.

My travel goals for 2021

Travel goals for 2021

Vietnam - I've dreamt of going back to Vietnam ever since I've landed returned to England after visiting there. I was only In Vietnam 10 days and visited Ho Chi Minh City, Hue, Hanoi, and Halong Bay, and loved every single moment. When I left, it's as if a bit of my heart is still there, and I need to explore more. I'd love to go to Da Nang, roam around Hoi An and hike up the Sapa Valley. There are so many beautiful areas of the country I'm yet to see and I'd love the opportunity to go again as soon as I'm able to - and absorb the wonderfulness that is the Vietnamese culture.

Dubai - My best friend lives in Dubai and I've already visited her out there once and I'd love to be able to go again, and spend some quality time with her and see her favourite spots. I've done all the typical 'tourist' things in the city and it'll be great to go back and brunch in plenty of places, relax on the beaches, stay in luxury accommodation and experience the sweet sunshine.

Sri Lanka - I've been dreaming about Sri Lanka for ages now. Every person I've spoken to who has been as saying it's their favourite place and makes me want to go more. Sri Lanka has so much to explore, plenty of hiking location and natural beauty, plus I'd love to learn more about its culture and history. I feel it's a country I don't really know much about which makes the idea of visiting it, even more mystical.

Italy - Ah Italy will forever have my heart and it feels weird not visiting the country this year. I love to go every year and see a new city. I've done Rome twice, Venice, Milan and Florence, and a few other towns in Tuscany - and I loved every minute of it. There's something about the food, culture and people which gives me a nostalgic and homely feel. I can't wait to go back and experience the 'at home' feel. I'd really like to visit Bologna next.

Bali, Indonesia - Indonesia has been on my travel list for a long time and I'd love the idea of backpacking around the whole country for a few weeks. However, I don't think a long trip there will be on my agenda for a few years but I'd love to still explore a small dose of the country and take a holiday to Bali over my birthday in June. It's a dream but I think it'll be pretty cool to turn 25 in Bali and stay in one of their treehouses on the beach.

My travel goals for 2021

I really hope I'm able to travel to a few of these places safely soon and that the world opens up once more. We'll see what happens in time but for now, I'm glad I've got an imagination and a matching world map to dream up my adventures. Thank you Photowall! 1. I hope that 2021 is a much better year, being able to travel is a much missed activity. Italy would be amazing to visit, one of my my best friends is Italian and she's talked about going back to Santa Maria di Leuca with myself and a few other friends, it's such a beautiful place. I hope you are able to travel next year and manage to see these beautiful places.

I think I'll probably stick to more staycations and small trips away first before I book anything else. I'm desperate to go back to Disneyland Paris though so maybe at the tail end of 2021! x
