Well hello to you my reader chums! I say this about every month but I'm pretty sure September swept by way too quickly with 2017 going along at a very fast pace. The month of September had a few exciting memories and with that, I've put together my favourite things.

Here are my September favourites...

Nyx's matte liquid lipstick in 'Rome'

I have an obsession with all things lipstick and will be that girl to buy 25 of the same shade just to try out different formulations. A range of lipsticks I adore are Nyx's matte liquid lipsticks and I've raved about them on various posts. The past month, I've been reaching for the shade 'Rome' a lot. When it comes to nude lipsticks, I'm a sucker for a dusky pink, whether its dark or light, it has my name on. 'Rome' is the ideal autumnal dusky pink, with that slight darkness to it that makes it look more than a nude lipstick. It applies with ease, has a creamy texture and sits for hours on the lips. Nyx's liquid lipstick in 'Rome' is definitely going to be a staple for the rest of autumn.

Slogan jumpers

Cooler weather means the jumpers come back out. Like lipsticks, jumpers are one of my biggest obsessions that when autumn hits I can't wait to dig into my collection. The weather hasn't been crazily cold or anything like that, however there has been a slight chill in the air and as I work in a causal office, throwing on a jumper with jeans is easy. What I've been reaching for are my slogan jumpers, from thicker ones with a small sentences to a big print in the middle on a thinner jumper. They're so easy to pair and look casual yet super cute. H&M, Primark and Pull&Bear do some of the best ones.

Marc Jacobs 'Daisy' Roll on perfume

Marc Jacob's Daisy perfume is my all time favourite scent. I went away to Amsterdam in September and as I'm going abroad again this month, I decided to invest in a rollerball perfume. It was the best decision I've made! I can take my favourite perfume with me wherever I go; whether that's abroad, on a night out or long day in London, I can quickly freshen up on the go. Marc Jacobs 'Daisy' has the freshest floral scent with a slight muskiness and I absolutely love it.

Anne Frank's Diary

Before I visited Amsterdam, I wanted to read Anne Frank's Diary as visiting her house was top on my list. I was about to pick a copy up on Amazon but ended up finding one at a boot fair for 50p and you really can't go wrong with that. The diary was incredibly eye-opening and bittersweet, I was amazed reading every single word. Anne was such a talented young writer and I feel blessed to have read her work. I love how the diary was a mixture of every girl's teenage thoughts and an insight into what they were going through in hiding. Reading it, really put a perspective on everything and it was so interesting to learn even more about the subject. Anne wrote how she really wanted to be a writer one day and make a name of herself, well that's exactly what she did. If you haven't already, add it to your reading list, it'll make you feel every single emotion and I couldn't recommend it enough.

Amsterdam

Towards the end of September, I visited Amsterdam for a few days with my boyfriend. I've wanted to see this city for a while now so finally getting to go meant so much to me. Amsterdam didn't disappoint; the never ending canals, rows of bicycles and characteristic buildings had a beautiful charm about it. I loved every minute, walking around to take in the view, visiting its museums and taking a canal boat tour, it was dream-worthy. Well hello to you my reader chums! After the ups and downs of British summer weather, we're slowly coming into the Autumn season, let's wave hello to September. I can't be the only one to say this but August did really sweep by, like all our summer months with the exciting season of Christmas that lays ahead. I have so much love for autumn; with the leaves falling off the trees, its cosy nights in, the best fashion options and makeup looks, it can't get much better. Through August, I hadn't tried out many new beauty items, however a few did catch my eye.

Here are my August favourites...

Too Faced Sweet Peach palette

I received this palette for my birthday and fell in love with the shade selection. Its packed with a variety of colours from everyday neutrals, warm browns/reds with bright pinks and purples thrown in. The Too Faced Sweet Peach palette has something for everyone, whether you love a toned down look or want to go wild with a bright pink. You can't fault the intense pigmentation, colour pay off, blending ability and endless lasting power; like all Too Faced products, this palette is top quality. I can't wait to use the warmer shades for the winter months and continue using its neutral shades. I'll be doing a review and makeup look very soon so keep your eyes peeled for that post!

Makeup Revolution sponge

I'm the biggest fan of using sponges to blend liquid base products as I find they give the most even coverage and reach every angle of the face. My favourite to use are the Real Techniques take on them because they're incredible quality and do the job. However, I received a Makeup Revolution brush set lately and in it came their dupe on the beauty blender. After giving it a go, I was very impressed. It's slightly smaller than the Real Techniques option, however holds the product and provides that even coverage I love. The only down side is makeup stains the sponge very easily and can be hard to wash off. Yet, if you're looking for a dupe of the beauty blender or Real Techniques version, I'd recommend Makeup Revolution's sponge.

Tresemme Keratin Smooth deep conditioning treatment

My hair has a natural curl to it and can generally look quite dry, given its slight frizzy state. When it comes to a hair wash routine, I like to incorporate highly conditioning products to bring out the shine and keep it smooth. This deep conditioning treatment helps a lot. I like to use Tresemme smoothing mask on every other hair wash as too much product for the hair isn't too good. After leaving it on for a few minutes, I really notice the difference and once my hair is dry, it feels silky smooth; a must with hair products for me.

Zoella Sweet Inspirations body mist

Zoella Beauty mists are completely underrated. I've found that as their scents are so strong, you can wear them like a perfume and they'll last all day long. 'Sweet Inspirations' has become my favourite at the minute because I'm addicted to the sweet scent. It reminds me of a mix between sweet shops and a spa, yet completely moreish, you want to keep spritzing. With sweet scents, I always find they can be too sickly, however this is much more of a lighter option which lingers throughout the day.

Well hello to you my reader chums! June has been one of my favourite months this year. The past few weeks have been packed with concerts, holidays and birthday celebrations so there wasn't many free moments. However, over that time I've discovered a few favourites I can't wait to share with you.

Here's a look at my June favourites..

Tartelette palette in bloom

I've been lusting over this palette for a while now and when visiting New York, I had to pick up this beauty in Sephora. I believe is was around the $46 mark and honestly worth every single penny. I'm incredibly impressed with the palette overall, the colours are intensely pigmented, they blend/layer well and are buttery soft to apply. I love the different tones available in this palette, how you go from creams, pinks, coppers, browns to purples and a staple black. It offers the variety for a simple everyday nude eye look or an intense copper, smoky eye. Each colour especially the gold and copper tones really bring out my blue eyes. If you're in America and are able to get your hands on this palette, I 100% would. Versatility, lasting power and stunning shades, it has my vote.

Sleek's Cleopatra Kiss highlighting palette

I'm a massive fan of Sleek's face products including their bronzers, blushes and highlighters as they're always insanely good quality. This new highlighting palette lived up to every expectation. Compared to Sleek's 'Solstice' palette, I'd say the 'Cleopatra kiss' is created more for summer time with its gold and bronze tones, working better with tanned skin. My favourite combination has to be the bottom two shades, a creamy intense highlight paired with a slightly bronze toned champagne powder highlight. The top two shades are too bronze toned for my skin and would work better for someone with a darker complexion. Highly pigmented, beautiful shimmer shades and gorgeous packaging, I have so much love for this palette.

Urban Decay's all -nighter spray

All of us beauty bloggers can admit, the Urban Decay all-nighter spray has been hyped for a very long time. I finally got my hands on it at Christmas time but for some reason never put it in one of my favourite posts. I love this spray; not only is it a refreshing spritz after you've applied your make up, but I've genuinely noticed a big difference for lasting-power. My makeup seems to cling on for that extra bit longer when I use this product. You only need a few sprays and it'll do the job!

South beach sunglasses

As I wear glasses on a day-to-day basis, in the summer it's lovely to change up to contact lenses and rock a pair of sunglasses. My new obsessions are these South Beach sunnies I found on ASOS for £12. They've been my go to for every summer outfit accessory and worked wonders on holiday. I'm in love with the rose gold frames and mirrored lenses; they're very Instagram worthy.

Events

June has been filled to the brim with exciting plans and I'm blessed to have experienced it all in the last few weeks. From Shawn Mendes concert, my boyfriend's leavers ball, a Malta holiday, turning 21, singing my heart out to Robbie Williams and dinner plans plus the many BBQs, summer has certainly started.

Well hello to you my reader chums and happy June! I honestly can't believe we're half way through the year and my favourite month has arrived. May clearly swept by and was jam-packed with many exciting moments. There haven't been too many favourites over the past few weeks, however I've got a few things to share..

Harry Styles' album

I never usually mention music favourites, however I couldn't not throw this in. Harry Styles has always been my favourite One Direction member and I've been a massive fan of his from the early days of the band. When I heard that he was releasing an album, I jumped with excitement. I fell in love with the first single 'Sign of the Times', so when the whole album was played, I couldn't stop listening to it. The songs are nothing I would have expected him to do and completely different to the style he is known for. Harry's album I'd describe as slow rock with a David Bowie vibe about it. Every song shows off his vocal range in an amazing light. My favourites have to be 'Sweet Creature', 'Two Ghosts' and 'Kiwi'. If you haven't heard it, I'd definitely check it out- I'm lucky enough to have got tickets to his tour so I can see the album performed live!

Hoola Bronzer by Benefit Cosmetics

I'm a big bronzer fan, out of all face products, it's my favourite. Having rather fair skin, it's hard to find a bronzer that contours the cheeks and doesn't look too orange upon application. Hoola bronzer however is my saviour in the bronzer world. The pigmentation is seamless, it contours your cheeks with ease whilst also warming up your complexion and has a grey undertone in oppose to bronze, giving a complete natural bronzed look. Its lasting power wears all day and holds that chisled look you desire. Not to mention, the packaging is super compact and cute; a must for any fair skinned girl like me.

Kiko's lip liner in '315'

I've raved about Kiko's lip liners over and over again in various posts, but they truly deserve the hype. They're the only base lip product I've used which cling the lipstick and hold it in place all night long, without drying out the lips. '315' in particular I've been obsessing over as it pairs amazingly with Mac's lipstick in 'Faux'. As it's that little bit darker, the outline enhances and defines the shape of the lips even more. The shade is quite a dark, dusky pink, perfect for everyday use.

Dorothy Perkins burgundy pinafore dress

It's safe to say, I have a huge obsession with pinafores and dungarees; I love that cutesy style and own way too many of those pieces. One I've been lusting over this past month is my burgundy pinafore I got in Dorothy Perkins. I've been loving to wear this on warmer days paired with a stripy top and converse for the ultimate spring style look. The material is thick, and heavy so I know it'll wear for a very long time. I can't wait to style it up throughout the seasons.

New York!

Start spreading the news....

If you saw my New York guide, then you'd know I was lucky enough to visit the Big Apple in May. I'm still in awe of everything I experienced and can't come to terms with 'I've visited New York'. It was without a doubt, one of the best trips I've ever been on. The sights, the food and the general vibe, I fell in love with. It's incredible, how the city never sleeps, how something exciting is always going on and how in a city of civilians, there's an odd sense of calm. Times Square, Top of the Rock, Central Park and the New York Public Library were just a few of my highlights.

Well hello to you my reader chums! February seem to pass us by in the blink of an eye and its crazy we're already so far into March. 2017 is going along far too quickly and I'm not sure I can keep up. Over the past few weeks, I've been trying out and obsessing about a few new products I can't wait to share with you.

Here's a look at my February favourites:

Garnier's micellar face gel wash

If you're a big fan of the renowned Garnier micellar water, then you could relate to my excitement when I saw the matching gel wash on the shelves in Boots. I can't say it fully lives up to the love I have for micellar water, however it's an incredible face wash. It's able to remove light makeup, cleanse the skin and leaves your skin feeling refreshed. The gentle consistency and no scent feature is ideal for those with sensitive skin. Find out a more information with my latest review.

Revlon's colour stay foundation for combination/oily skin

I'm one of those girls who stick to what they know and love when it comes to base makeup products. As I've heard many bloggers and vloggers hype about this foundation, I wanted to try the Revlon colour stay out for myself. I fell in love with it on the first use. They have two different formulation options, one for dry skin and the other for combination/oily skin that I chose which suits me perfectly. There's so many reasons why I love this foundation. The light-medium, buildable coverage is ideal for day-day use and if you'd like something more heavy duty for an evening out. Its consistency is very creamy, sits on the skin well and has a natural, dewy finish. With a primer, the lasting power is seamless, staying all day long and I couldn't fault the wide colour range. I'd 100% recommend if you're on the hunt for a new foundation.

I have a big admiration for Kiko's products, everything I've tried from their brand are always top quality for an affordable price. This lipstick is no exception. I'm seriously impressed with the packaging even if slightly bulky as I love the magnetic effect on how it closes. I'd describe the shade as a toned down berry with a glossy finish. I'm not usually a big fan of lipsticks that aren't matte, however, the sheen wash over the top makes it the ideal everyday lipstick. The consistency is incredibly creamy and feels like a thick lip balm once applied which through wear, leaves the lips feeling moisturised. Its lasting power isn't as impressive given the glossy formulation, however the quality and shade have won my heart.

Max Factor miracle touch creamy blush

Similar to base products like primers and foundations, I tend to stick to the same blushers. However, there was a sale on Max Factor so I couldn't resist picking a new one up. I remember these blushers being hyped a few years back in the beauty world but never jumped on the band wagon until now. With the tiny compact easy for travelling and intense pigmentation, I couldn't fault this blush. The shade 'soft murano' is a warm pink, slightly red toned colour which easily blends onto the skin. As its a cream blush, there's no need for a brush as your fingers will give a more even finish.

Argan oil lip balm

With the cold day of February, dry lips were bound to be on the horizon. This little pot of argan oil lip balm did the trick with even my driest and cracked lips. It helped soothed and moisturise them until my lips were back into their normal state.

Well hello to you my reader chums! September flew right past and autumn was at our feet before we knew it. For me the past few weeks have been very busy filled with celebrations, last minute summer fun and preparations for the autumn months (aka a lot of clothes shopping). I didn't really try out any new products throughout the month, yet fell back in love with a few of all my old gems that I wanted to share with you.

Here are my monthly favourites:

'Brazened Honey' Lush Cosmetics facemask - When the cooler weather hit, my skin tends to break out and becomes a tad more sensitive than in the summer months. Autumn is all about cosiness and a time I like to treat myself more with relaxing baths and facemasks on a regular basis. I recently picked up my holy grail of facemasks, Lush's Brazened Honey when I popped into my local shop. As I collected over 5 pots, I got this one free, which is a complete bonus! I could speak endless good things about this product - Once applied, the scent lingers throughout the room and feels completely fresh on the skin. Even though the exfoliant is tough, it's not harsh on the skin at all so helps washes away any excess dirt or makeup, leaving the skin fresh, smooth and revitalised. The pot I would say can make around 6-8 masks, depending on how thick you layer them up. It's the perfect option to go for if you have normal to oily and sensitive skin like me as it's not overly perfumed.

L'oreal's Infallible primer - The L'oreal primer has been an obsession of mine for a good few months now but I feel like it deserves a shout out again this month. With the weather changing from baking hot summer days to rainy, windy autumn, this primer ensures long lasting makeup whatever the season. When we had sweltering days in September, my face still managed to cling onto the makeup using this beauty as with rainy periods. The consistency is gel like, it sinks into the skin like a dream and guarantees makeup wear all day long, I cannot fault it! An 100% recommendation for those with normal to oily skin.

Sleek's Solstice highlighting palette - Hyped and adored by the whole beauty blogging community, Sleek's famous rose gold palette has stolen every body's hearts. Over the past few weeks, I've rediscovered this beauty and have been using it on a daily basis. For that extra shimmery highlight I love to use the cream based shade on the tops of my cheekbones, brow and cupids bow then dust the pink colour over the top; it's divine. The 4 shades are completely versatile, used for a subtle everyday look or glamorous night out!

Maybelline's Lash Sensational mascara - I've hyped about this mascara for the longest time and still haven't gone back to a different one since discovering it! I wanted to give it an extra shout out this month as I've been wearing a very minimal eye makeup look lately with a touch of eye shadow across the upper lash line and couple coats of mascara. I'm not exaggerating when I say, it's the only mascara I've tried which genuinely holds a curl, lasts all day and lengthens my lashes. A 100% recommend.

Nyx cosmetics matte lip cream in 'Cannes'

Nyx's lip matte cream in 'Cannes' - I'm pretty sure I've featured this product in a favourites before and sung its praises in a recent review, but I'm completely in love. When I want to step up the nude lip game, this lipstick is my got to. The colour is a dark, dusky pink; an absolute dream on the lips. Application is very creamy yet when set, it becomes matte and is very long lasting through eating plus drinking. I definitely need to get my hands on a few more of this fabulous collection! The matte lip creams are a true winner for those who adore matte lip products like me.

Goodbye sunshine, beach days and ice cream, hello autumn! Summer is slowly coming to a close with the leaves turning brown, the fresh chill in the air and jumpers returning into season; I'm excited to see what September brings. August was a pretty busy month filled with a Rome adventure, beach days, long drives, endless laughter and fun filled moments with friends.

As we saw many warm days in August, makeup was kept to a minimum and I didn't try out as many new products, just sticking with a few of my favourites. Here are the staples I've been loving throughout the month:

Maybelline's dream BB fresh cream in 'light'

Maybelline's BB cream - When the sunshine hits and want a bit of coverage on your face, BB cream is an essential. My top pick has to be Maybelline's because in comparison to the Rimmel option, it's very lightweight and feels as if you're applying moisturiser to the skin instead of a foundation. The formulation is watery yet buildable, achieving a flawless light base without having to layer up too heavily. The finish is very dewy, ideal for an everyday, glowy summer look.

Benefit's Highbeam - Glowing cheekbones is something the summer time sunshine enhances and what better way than throwing your favourite highlighter in the mix for some extra shimmer. Over the past few weeks, I've been loving to use Highbeam as an everyday highlight. The wetness and dewy consistency of the formulation, leaves a natural finish onto the skin when applied. Arbonne mascara - I actually won this mascara as a prize on Twitter and couldn't wait to test out a new brand! Since I'm obsessed with Maybelline's Lash Sensational, I tried this beauty out on my bottom lashes to see how it would play out and was impressed. The large brush was handy to coat each lash and the thickness of the mascara truly helped lengthen the bottom lashes. I found it clinged quite well to the lashes and open up my eyes a lot more, when a few layers had been applied.

My Burberry perfume - Ever since my best friends raved about this perfume and I had a smell of it myself, I was addicted. The lingering musky, heavy scent is heavenly, I just can't get enough. I finally decided to treat myself when in the airport last month and since have been pretty much obsessed. I'd describe the perfume as very dense, a sophisticated, slighty warm and sweet smell; I love it! The bottle even comes with glitter inside and presented in such a classy way - definitely living up to the Burberry name. If you're looking for a new spritz, I would 100% recommend giving this one a go; I wish I bought the 100ml now!

Rome adventure - My last favourite has to be visiting Rome this month hence the passport in my top image. Experiencing the Italian culture, tasting traditional dishes and witnessing the incredible sights was a dream come true! I always dreamt of visiting the Italian soils whether it was Naples, Venice or Rome, my aim one day is to see the whole of Italy. Now, I've seen Rome, the capital, one of the world's most remarkable cities and that never fails to amaze me. Well hello to you my reader chums! With the exciting month of June now over, it's time to share all the products I've been enjoying these past few weeks. June was an incredible month filled with countless sensational moments including a girls holiday, Brighton and celebrating my 20th birthday! Now summer is fully underway ( lets hope the British weather gets the message soon), I can't wait to see what more fun adventures lay ahead.

Here's an overview of all my favourite monthly products:

The first favourite is a new skincare love of mine, Body Shop's seaweed face mask. I picked this up just over a month a go, following a recommendation on Twitter by a fellow beauty blogger. I'd ran out of my Lush face mask 'Brazened Honey' and chose to opt for something new - I have to admit, I was certainly impressed! As labelled, it's a clay mask so applies wet and sets like clay to the skin. This means when washing off, ( I use a circular motion), it helps exfoliate this skin at the same time as drawing out the impurities. I've been using it on a weekly basis and have found my skin to feel fresher, smooth and completely clean after a face mask. However, on sensitive areas such as my under eyes, if I use a lot of product, it can leave them feeling dry and tender, therefore I usually layer it more on oily stricken areas.

The next favourite has to be an item from Zoella's new collection, the Sweet Inspirations mist. If you saw my review on her entire new range, you'd know I'm addicted to the heavenly sweet scent! The mist has to be my favourite product I've tried from the collection so far - The smell is that delicious you'd want to eat it and it lingers all day long. With utterly adorable packaging and a scent that'll make your taste buds tingle, it's become an everyday staple.

Another product I've been loving is an olden goldie for me, Rimmel's BB cream. This base is something I use every now and then when I'm having phases of how much coverage I need. As I went on holiday early June, I got a fair amount of use out of this due to it's SPF factor and light coverage. On the days I wore makeup, I applied this with a bit of concealer, powder, bronzer and mascara - a simple yet wearable, easy quick look in the beaming heat.

Lastly, this lip duo is the dream team of the orange lipstick world. When it comes to summer or the warmer weather shines through, a staple look I adore is orange lips. I find with a tan and glowing bronzy cheek bones, nothing looks better. My favourite to wear as pictured above is Kiko's lip liner in '306' and my beloved Mac's 'Lady Danger.' By pairing these not only have I found the colour to be more vibrant, but the lasting power is absolutely flawless. The products on their own are pretty long wearing ( especially the lip liner, nothing budges it) so when put together, you know it'll last throughout the evening. Even though both lip products are matte, neither feel drying upon application and blend really easily; couldn't fault them.

Well hello to you my reader chums! I can't believe the spring month of May is over and we're now in June; half way through 2016. The past few weeks have gone incredibly fast and I'm now only a couple of days away from jetting off on another girls holiday; crazy stuff.

I've been loving a few new products and a golden oldie the month just gone, here's an overview:

Maybelline's colour tattoo in 'Pink gold'

When the warmer weather hits and spring emerges, my go to makeup look is a shimmery pink eye and nude lip. To achieve it, my favourite product is the ever so hyped, Maybelline colour tattoo in 'pink gold'. This cream eyeshadow doubles up as a base and primer for the eyes, ensuring the shadow lasts that extra bit longer. The consistency is creamy and blends well, giving a beautiful pink sheen to the eye.

Book - Little Girl Gone' by Alexandra Burt

For as long as I can remember I've been a complete bookworm, with my head always stuck in a story. Over the past few weeks therefore, I wanted to get back into the swing of reading and have carried this little gem wherever I'd get the chance to read. This book had me hooked from the off, the deep tragedy and suspense it had throughout, gripped you in; I didn't want to put it down. With many unexpected moments, heart breaking scenes and noteworthy characters, it's an addictive read. A must recommend with a crazy plot twist.

Simple Kind to Skin soothing facial toner

I'm not sure if it's because summer is fast approaching or what but this month I've really got back into a skin care routine, ensuring I tone after using my Simple face wash. The toner I've been loving is the matching Simple one because it's truly gentle on the skin and feels really refreshing once used. It helps take away any excess dirt, makeup or grime that the makeup remover and face wash do not, leaving the skin feeling clean.

Brushegg brush cleaner

This mitt style brush cleaner has been another favourite in May. My best friend Chloe picked this up for me at a boot fair as she'd thought I'd get a lot a use out of it; she was correct indeed. The gizmo makes the brush cleaning process much quicker, simpler and doesn't leave your hands feeling raw afterwards. It's designed with a little hole in the bottom to insert your fingers and have a grip when swirling the brushes on the flat side. I use it by squeezing a ten pence size amount of baby shampoo onto the flat part and lathering it up to deep clean the brush. I found by using this, the brushes get more of an in depth clean to what it usually would if I had lathered the shampoo on my hand.

Nyx Cosmetics matte lip cream in 'Cannes'

With the exciting arrival of a NYX stand in my local boots, I finally got my hands on a few of their products and I have to admit the matte creams certainly lived up to the high expectations. I bought 'Stockholm' and 'Cannes', two varied nudes, 'Stockholm' being a brown tone and 'Cannes' a slightly dark, dusky pink. I've especially loved 'Cannes' this month as it really smartens up any look. I find the texture of these to be beautifully creamy as they sit on the lips well, not budging for several hours. Despite the matte formulation, the lip creams aren't drying at all on the lips and feel like you have no product on at all; I absolutely love them.
